If you are looking to meet other eBayers from across the country or to learn ways to build your eBay business directly from the company itself, then you should register for an eBay: On Location event. The next one will be held in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on September 5 and 6.

During the two-day event that is held twice a year, eBay and its sellers get the opportunity to interact and improve the partnership between them. Sellers are given the chance to find out more about eBay, new developments, new tools, and how to become better sellers. eBay gets the chance to talk directly with its users and to find out what is working and what is not.

There are many courses you can attend no matter what your level of experience. There will even be a few of eBay’s top buyers there for the eBay Buyer Panel who will be able to provide insight on their experiences.

For more information on this event, click here. Registration to attend opens July 17, 2012.

If you are attending eBay on Location in Atlanta on March 19-20, be sure to sign up to attend the Aftermath Event, hosted by my colleague John COLDERICE Lawson. John is a fellow Atlantan and has assembled a fantastic group of eCommerce "Rock Stars" for a meet and greet type event. What a great opportunity to meet some of the brighest in the eBay and ecommerce arena.

Did you receive the email about eBay on Location? It is coming to my hometown of Atlanta on March 19-20. The event is one and a half days worth of workshops, seminars, and guest speakers designed to enhance and grow your eBay business. There will also be open networking with eBay partners, sponsors, and executives. The cost to attend (not including travel) is $45. You will receive a $10 discount if you register by February 16. I have already made my reservation. Click here to see the schedule of events and make your reservation.

The Atlanta event takes place at the Omni Hotel at CNN Center. There is a special rate of $169 per night. The deadline for the special rate is February 23. Just provide the booking code eBay to receive your discount.

Part of the registration process includes a section asking what topics you are most interested in learning about. My top three:

1) Marketing eBay listings online for free
2) More details on how to get to the top of Best Match
3) Third party applications

I am really looking forward to this event and would love to meet anyone else who plans to attend. If you will be there, please send me an email at eBaycoach@yahoo.com and we can meet up and say "hi" in person!

Hope to see you there!
